  While Brookehaven has been all about Pembrokes for many years,  Cardigans finally proved impossible to resist. And so in 1997 the very first Cardigan Corgi joined the resident Pembroke gang to begin his show career.

Dagmar grew on from a promising puppy into a stunning adult. Her beautiful brown eyes and her lovely breed type can - and does! - melt hearts. She is a delightful companion to all the Pembrokes, and she has made it her mission to warm the bed for her humans each & every night.

 

Her first litter, born in the spring of 2007, contained puppies possessing not only her charming personality but also her beautiful outline and her impressive movement. Hopefully her future puppies will likewise have those same wonderful qualities.

 

Dagmar has both OFA and PennHip certification, and her eyes are ACVO certified as totally clear. She is DNA tested as PRA clear/unaffected.
